What do you dislike more : The snow or the cold? - poll

As winter approaches the cold and snow have been hitting hard here, as I am sure it is many other places.

I used to think I didnt mind the snow as much as the cold, but Im changing my mind a bit as my driving responsibilities have increased this year.

Which do you hate more :

Which do you dislike more
  • The snow
  • The cold
  • Both equally
  • I love winter!

We had like 12 inches the saturday before last and the driving was awful in the morning trying to get to work.

I dont like the cold but at least it doesnt cause car accidents.

I like the winter. I just don’t like when it’s only raining. Like it’s done the last couple of weeks. Rain every day.

I cannot handle the cold! I have always been sensitive to cold, having to bring a jacket with me everywhere, during mid-summer 100 degree weather, because of businesses blasting the AC!! I cannot handle the AC!

And then winter, oh boy. I have cervical dystonia, which is basically my shoulders and neck muscles contracting like crazy, causing severe pain, and cold weather makes it worse. Like, if I have to walk from a business out to my car, in winter, I try to hurry as fast I can, cause my neck and shoulders will tense up and cause intense pain at the site, plus an intense migraine.

And the doggo needs to be walked, even in winter. I pile on the layers. So many layers. But it’s still a miserable experience.

I lived most of my life in a cold, snowy climate. I hated it so much that I moved to a warmer climate.

Last year I shoveled twice the whole of winter. December alone this year I shoveled twice. I’m glad I bought an electric shovel on sale.

I hate the cold. I was just saying to my mother earlier today how I wished it was Summer and I was soaking up the Sun.

That’s a thing?! I don’t have a driveway right now, just a carport. But if I ever have a driveway in the future, I’m gonna get one! How does it work?

You put a battery in it. It comes with 2, mine does. On the battery you hit a button and it shows the battery strength. I do my driveway and my 70 year old neighbors and it only used one bar. The battery has 4 bars. You hold it like a shovel, push a button, and hold a trigger by the handle and it is like a snow blower only cheaper. It doesn’t work good for really wet snow. You can use it it’s better than a shovel for wet snow. It’s made for powder snow and medium snow. They have some for one hundred dollars. So it’s an expense I bought mine on black Friday, it was $180 I got it for $100 so I got a good one. I know you have pain so I don’t know how it would affect your hands. It’s nice for driveways I wouldn’t get one just to shovel around a car though. Good things. It comes with a charger I think some don’t.

To be completely honest with you, I actually don’t mind either. I like how the cold, crisp air tingles my throat like fresh mints whilst going on a walk.

I like cooler temps, and when it gets downright cold I can always add more clothing.

I hate the snow because of having to drive in it, especially now with having a long commute. It doesn’t help that I have a small, lightweight car.

You got a job @freakonaleash ?

Snow and cold don’t bother me, but ice? I absolutely hate driving on ice.

Just yesterday the backroads were kind of crappy because of the snow, and I’m doing 20mph in a short snow bank on the road, and this guy couldn’t stand it so he tried passing me and almost head on’d a snow plow coming the opposite way.

I’m only doing 20mph during this very short stretch of road, I could even see it was clear about 100 yards down the road, and this guy got so impatient it almost cost him his life.

Icey roads? That brings out all of the super idiots.
