What's the temperature today in your place?

Today we have a high temperature in Nanjing, it’s 38 degrees Celsius, about 100 Fahrenheit. But when I looked at the weather forecasts, it seems this will be the last heat wave this summer, the temperaturs are going down obviously three days later, around 30 degrees Celsius, about 86 Fahrenheit.

Now I see the temperature is high if it is above 95 degrees Fahrenheit. In Celsius it is above 35 degrees.

You guys in California are lucky, 88 F isn’t very hot for people in the Lower Delta of Yangzi River. We usually have the temperatures above 100 F which lasts for more than one month.

Wow, a month. We’ve had like two days this year where it’s gone above 90. We’ve had exceptionally good weather this year with most days in the high 70’s to low 80’s.

So I suppose you guys don’t need air-conditioning in summer. Just a fan will do you a service.

It’s 66 F here right now, we had rain all day and it’s 8:30 at night. Our hottest day so far this summer was 82 F…not too bad at all.

66 F is early spring weather to us. Very comfortable.
