Name the only Beatles song where they deliberately use a curse word.
Off the top of my head- āIām so tiredā?
Iām So Tired has the word curse in it but thatās not what I meant.
Whatās the answer?
I wonāt say but I looked it up
Not curse, but Eleanor Rigby said father McKenzie wiping the dust from a grave no one was saved⦠(paraphrase)ā¦
It hurts me when I listen to Revolver
I thought it was Hey Jude or Get back to where you once belonged.
Eleanor Rigby sounds like it could have been written/recorded today. Iāve always loved that song.
donāt know the answer to the trivia though. Is the track on the Beatles 1 album?
Thatās why I used the word ādeliberatelyā. Paul McCartney inadvertently let an f-bomb go on Hey Jude but it wasnāt written in to the song like the word Iām thinking of.
Itās on the White Album. I donāt think the song made it to the Beatles One album.
@77nick77, Eleanor Rigby is on Revolver..
And curse Sir Walter Raleigh
He was such a stupid git
Git is sometimes regarded as a mild swear word.
Cmon whatās the answer
The suspense is palpable and no right answer in sight.
Piggies
By George Harrison
Have you seen the bigger piggies
In their starched white shirts?
You will find the bigger piggies
Stirring up the dirt,
Always have clean shirts to play around in
In their styes with all their backing
They donāt care what goes on around
In their eyes thereās something lacking
What they needās a damn good whacking
Youāre right, so technically, thereās two songs.
The words ābaby you can my carā may as well be cursing. Pretty sure itās paraphrasing a pretty colourful phrase
I donāt understand is it because he said ādamnā ?
Yeah, thatās a curse word.
You said you looked it up. What did you come up with?
