Im having alot of depression recently lamictal is slowly stopping working im on 350mg total
I’ve heard good things about lithium and depakote would they help this constant sadness
I’ve been on all of the major mood stabilizers.
The medication that helps me tremendously is Depakote, but it’s not really geared toward helping depression.
It’s more of an antimanic, mixed episode medication.
Lamictal and low dose Abilify helped my depression in the past
Have you ever been on lithium is it worth the risk
Is it safe to take with a heart condition
Lithium didn’t help me at all because although it’s a great med for classic bipolar, it really doesn’t do much for rapid cycling.
It’s also very toxic especially at higher doses
Idk if i rapid cycle or weather i have mixed episodes when taking nothing or have both
I haven’t been euphoric manic for a long period since 2020 ive had mixed episodes im sure you remember

Also worth noting zyprexa completely stopped my mood disorder symptoms which is why I might ask for depakote
It helped mood more than voices
Depakote is King when it comes to rapid cycling and mixed states.
The only issue I have with being on it is the weight gain.
It’s also very hard on the liver

One thing i forgot to mention is a few nights ago I had a transient manic episode i took melatonin and was able to sleep and then I woke up feeling like ■■■■
