I saw Moonbeam was anonymizing on the old forum so I pmed the old mods to say goodbye since it will likely be the last time most of us will talk to them.
Moonbeam wanted me to pass along her best wishes to everyone on the new forum.
So thats what I’m doing.

Best wishes to Moonbeam. I can see her frustration with a lack of response from admin in her posts before she requested anon.
It’s hard to make an argument to keep the old forum open when there’s weeks between updates and mods are fighting for a response.
Thats my opinion and I guess it’s all I have to say.
No shade to anyone, life happens and I’m incredibly grateful to the old forum, but new things are nice too and I’m also grateful for this new forum.

Excuse my ignorance but what does anonymizing your account do? I thought all it did was change your username to random letters and numbers and stop people from looking at your profile. Does it do something else? @SzSupportAdmin, @POET , @TheCanuk?
The key thing that you may be missing is that it stops you from logging in. That is basically the end of that account.
Its basically deleting all the personal information but leaving all the old posts as an anonymous user.
