whats ironic about this is that technically speaking the world could still be a sphere and we just live on top of it right? so theres literally no reason really to believe the world is flat lol

Well we had to start somewhere with our innate knowledge and answer seeking nature as humans.
I think love is the bigger picture. The pursuit of love and beauty. And I dont mean beauty as in commercial mainstream ideal personal appearance of people. I mean more like the good, the respectful, the meaningful, the kindness, taking responsibility and personal accountability, music, art, writing, nature etcetera etcetera. Thats what beauty is too me. And love can spring from those kinds of beauty.
