I think that in the future we’ll have the ability to control reality by remote means from a supercomputer with technological capabilities beyond our comprehension that allow for the manipulation of matter

I totally disagree with you
First of all, you aren’t listening to the right people if you don’t understand that the future is considered and held in belief by those that are lovely and wise.
Second of all, you’re falling victim to the news cycle if you really believe that things are deteriorating to that extent. Yes, there are problems and fascism is on the rise. But history is progressing in a manner that is somewhat cyclical -spiral perhaps. Things to some extent repeat themselves and we have to deal with it when that happens.
I would beg you to reconsider your position on this supposedly being the end of the world

I’m worried about the future of our Planet Earth, I try to be hopeful but I am a bit pessimistic about that. humans have done so much harm already.
