Cosmos is eternal, we are each unlikely, but possible occurances, it is not eternal recurrance but eternal occurances of the same consciousness in different realities.

Let’s say that you have a child, and your child poops in his pants. You get upset, you’re hyper-focused on the poop, it’s all that you can think about. However, you’re not focusing on how wonderful your child is, and you’re certainly not focusing on what role this poop will have in your child’s future over the next 10-15 years.
Apple could just make phones, but they’re focused on how people will communicate with each other over the next 20 years. They think of ways, and then they spend a lot of money in research and development. They make a watch, but it just doesn’t communicate time: it makes phone calls, has the internet, GPS, can make an SOS call if it thinks you were in an accident, monitors various health factors.
They also make other products that they think people will use to communicate over the next 20 years or so.
Thus the big picture is focused on the future and what role what’s happening right now will play in that future.

The universe is beyond comprehension for mankind I think. 500 years ago they believed the earth was flat.

to be fair some people today still beleive the world is flat 
idk how someone can see the moon and the sun which are clearly spheres and be like… yup the world is flat lmao…. its funny cause for that long the explaination was “well then how the hell dont we fall off?” which is what most flat earthers would probably say today haha
