Before reading further, I would like to say that this is kind of a crude post, so if you are sensitive, please dont read further.
My wife is at an eye appointment so cant watch dog.
Puppy refuses to go in crate.
So she is following me around wherever I go. Which is good, because I dont trust her alone either.
This becomes a problem in the bathroom.
It’s very hard to fight off a dog when you are peeing without getting it all over.
She keeps trying to lick my stream and has even bit me(not too hard fortunately) in uh…my firehose once.
Doing some kind of hula dance to try to avoid her (if you can picture that) is not easy.

I’m so sorry but I literally laughed out loud reading this! Ok, so my advice is to sit while you pee. It’s awkward but beats getting bitten. lol! Still laughing… sorry!!!

If she refuses to go in the crate on her own then next time place her in the crate yourself
It’s better than getting bit in the noodle!!

Glad I re-skimmed the sentence lol.

Lmao. It’s no biggie.
I gotta wipe butts in the middle of eating.
On another note, I saw a meme awhile back that said-
“If stopping to wipe butts during every meal sounds like fun, then parenting is for you.”
Or something like that haha

I’m sure it might be the same way with the puppy in a way

Put the leash over the outer doorknob and shut the door so she’s in with you but the leash can’t come off the knob. She can sit and watch in a pervy way or set her in the bathtub while you contemplate your life in a stream of consciousness.

My dog didn’t like the crate. He had horrible separation anxiety. I felt bad putting him in there while at work.
One thing that did help was putting the TV on for him in the background. Made him feel less alone.

lol. I wish I could say that, but no. She just jumped up on the edge of the toilet with her front paws and lunged, I think.
I dont know for sure exactly how she got me because there was a lot going on and my memory isnt that good.
All I know is I felt it.

I started sitting while I pee many years ago. I got domesticated
But really, I find it more comortable, and it takes away the messy element of missing the bowl or getting recoil splashing.
