Bugs hallucinations

Does anyone else deal with this?

I read that its more common if you take drugs and not if you dont. Ive never taken drugs, so Im scared the docs will think I do now.

I usually feel them crawling around my legs, or in my face. Unmedicated I often see bugs or parts of bugs everywhere, on floor, in my food, etc. Especially maggots, spiders and small beetles.

Once I believed I had maggots inside my teeth and was scared they would crawl up to my brain. If Im stressed I think I can hear bugs crawl around.

Sounds like you are having a nightmare. It’s not real, just something to ignore

I used to hallucinate insects all the time before I started taking lurasidone but I never did any drugs.

I have visual and tactile hallucinations of bugs. Seeing them on the ground and on the walls. Feeling them crawl up my leg. And no, I’m not on drugs lol

just a breakthrough symptom

I dealt with it once.

My grandma lately has tactile hallucinations. Bugs that crawl and get in her mouth and nose. She rubs the bugs with her finger, trying to kill them. It started a month ago. It’s due to her age, they said. She is 96.

All I know is that what you experience is truly horrible. I’m so sorry

I would hallucinate hundreds of spider crawling all over me, it was awful and I’m sorry you’re dealing with this.

One night I hallucinated fleas all over me and I was tossing and turning all night.

I’ve seen an aethereal spider before.

You wake up from a dream still hypnagogic. And then you can see aspects of your dream in the room with you.

I felt the spider bite my neck before too. Was kinda freaky.

Edit: it is hypnapompic not gogic.
