Sometimes I hear a radiostation through the walls or in another room when there is none. Its either muffled pop music, or 2 older men speaking to eachother. I cant hear what theyre saying but I can hear them laughing, sighing and just conversing. It doesnt matter where I am, as long as its quiet enough I can hear them.
Sometimes I hear bugs crawling in the walls or underneath stuff instead. At times I saw them crawling in my pherpipheral like cockroaches or spiders, or feel them crawling around my legs and biting me.
I searched this up and saw that this could just be the brain picking up white noise and trying to make sense of them, and everyone experiences it. same with seeing things in your pheripheral. And feeling bugs could just be like some empathic reflex?
Im not sure if I should bring it up in my next meeting with my psychiatrist, or If Im worrying too much. I dont mind the radio noises so much, rather it feels calming. But the bugs…
How can you tell the difference on whats a hallucination vs just a temporary brain fart? I just want to know if Im needlessly worrying over something thats maybe normal. I dont want to overplay my issues
One night I heard men outside my house window at midnight. They were talking about burning my house down. I freaked out. I was frozen. I listened to them for hours. Nothing happened. I figured it was a delusion.
Thats so scary, glad you realised it was a delusion though.
I dont really hear voices aside from the radio men, but there was one time I heard something with big claws slowly scraping my window. It was so loud and scary! And I also laid frozen in bed.
However the streetlight outside was positioned so that I would see the shadow if something was right outside, but I didnt see anything while I heard the noise, so it was easier to deduce it to just being a mind trick later, even if it was super scary.
Hmm I guess that its probably related to schz if you think those experiences are caused by jesus or spirits. Nonetheless Im sorry youve been through this..
Yeah I have a scheduled meeting next week, thats why I was wondering if I should even bring this up because it seems normal from reading about it online. But its probablt better to ask a professional
