Been having anxiety issues lately and I think I will talk to my doctor about these meds. Does anyone have experiences with either they would like to share?

Therapy. Better to learn to deal with it without the crutch of meds. I have to be really messed up to pop the top on my Ativan.
I’m taking peregabalin; it really helps with my anxiety. I’ve been taking it for three months now and haven’t felt any side effects yet. It also helps me detach from negativity and focus on what’s important to me.

I take pregabalins sister drug, gabapentin. Works well when needed.

Unfortunately, the therapy I do has a limited effect on my anxiety. Been doin it for over a decade!

I’m avoiding benzos, for what it’s worth. Addiction problems.
Buspar caused me a lot of hallucinating. But it c I understand work fir you

I was on the max dose of buspar it done nothing for me

Buspar helped me but only at high doses. Noe I take hydroxyzine as needed. I need 50 to 100 mg at a time for it to work. But it definitely helps me a lot

Pregabalin was good but the dose creeped up very high
Don’t take diazepam anymore but have a lot of it if I needed. Makes me too tired
Vortioxetine seems to help and it’s mild side effects
