Can you grow you hair long whilst on schizophrenia and depression meds?

I dont see why not. My hair is getting so long I need a haircut soon.

I’m on 20 mg olanzapine, 1 mg of risperidone, and 20 mg of Celexa. I have very long gait and it grows very fast.

I grew my hair out to a medium length recently but cut it cuz i couldn’t handle the maintenance

yes. i grew my hair halfway down my back while on on at different times olanzapine, geodon, abilify, paliperidone, risperidone, sertraline, benztropine, bupropion, hydroxyzine, quetiapine, clonazepam, topamax, metformin and im male. i cut my hair since growing it super long but ive grown it long many times since i have no issues with hair growth on any meds.

Yes my hair was pretty long about a week ago . I got it cut below my shoulder. Its hard to maintain when its too long as I don’t like to tie my hair.

I think pcos can cause hair loss

I think the line of thinking is

Sz.. sz meds… overeating… weight gain… pcos… hair loss… can’t grow long hair.

I’m trying to lose weight since I feel I’m getting a little overweight. I also recently got a hair cut which is a little too short. I don’t see why not you can grow your hair out. Is your hair thick, wavy, or straight? If you want to feel more attractive maybe consider makeup and your wardrobe :wink:.

Mine thinned out for medical reasons unrelated to sza or APs, and it is growing back nicely. It’s at an awkward phase where I have to use clips to keep it from frizzing out and escaping my ponytail.
