Developmental learning disorder and Depersonalization-derealization

I have a developmental learning disorder and due to stress, I tend to dissociate.

The world doesn’t look real, it feels a bit distorted because I can’t comprehend how we have complex mathematics, science and technology.

When I was a bit younger, I at times was so convinced that our world is not real.

That’s sounds difficult to deal with. Not recognising reality.

I feel like the world is distorted, I am just an observer, that I at times was so convinced that our world is not real and I feel like I am in a sci-fi world.

Ive had derealization experiences a few times… the most easy to remember is feeling as if the world is like a simulation … i woukd get caught up in thinking like the image on a monitor is nothing like whats going on in a computer so the image i have of the world is not real like that

I feel the opposite. That the world is predictable and science is what is ultimately destroying our world. All this technology and it gets old fast and ends up in a garbage pile somewhere. Plastics in the seas. Chemicals, toxic waste and all the sh-it we are doing. We are chopping down the rainforest so we can breed cows because people want to eat cheap meat. We are overpopulating earth and we need food and housing which is ultimately destroying nature. It’s like a cancer on earth. Just because we want to consume. And we are not getting better, depression, suicide and all these crazy ailments caused by modern living. Not to mention all the illnesses we spread and humans die.

We would be better off living a spiritual life in the forest in a tribe. Isolated somewhere.
