it could help i think… you seem to have a persistent delusion about the ship thing, i think it would help. could be a form of mania which a mood stablizer might help.

Yes that’s possible.

I already bought the mood stabilizer and took 1 pill.

I used to take mood stabilizer 9 years ago when at the beginning of this illness I had mood swings.

Grandiosity? Yes.

For more than a week? Yes.

Also depression? Yes.

Hypomania or mania?

Anyone with mania here?

Could you enlighten me?

Depression with grandeur: mixed episode?

I made a quick research online and they say that feeling grandiose and depressed or hopeless at the same time is mixed type

I’ve been manic but only when I was prodromal

One episode of mania is enough for diagnosis of bipolar 1

I don’t really operate with that diagnosis.

Nobody talks to me about my manic period tbh

A nurse on the ward once told me full on mania is very rare. That hypomania is way more common.

I am not sure what to think of that tbh. It seemed to diminish a lot of folks experiences.

If your doctor says so maybe you should try one.

Yes, I took it twice today.

One in morning

One in evening.

I asked him how long does it take to work, he didn’t reply yet

In 6 weeks time you’ll feel so much better.

Yeah ive had mania before and alot of hypomania before haldol

I would feel magical then do impulsive things like gambling and during manic psychosis i ended up vandalizing stuff when i was completely at my worst

Also most people who get grandiose delusions end up on a mood stabilizer

Maybe it also helps sz but atleast from what ive seen manic people tend to get alot more grandiose delusions
