Yes, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I lived with roommates for years until I finally got sick of having to get along with difficult people. My last roommate thought he was so better than me and he was a slob and I didn’t like his girlfriend’s trip so I’m glad I’m out of there. Now if my neighbor would get off his power trip my life would be pretty peaceful.
I’m kind of getting used to living alone.
Honestly I don’t think I’d want to live with a roommate
I have lived alone for decades. Don’t think I would make a good flatmate tbh. Kinda stuck in my ways
I live with my wife who is seven years younger than me. She is 48. And at one point we lived with all three of my kids too. I also have two tuxedo cats. One is 6 pounds one is 12 pounds and the bigger one is younger than the tiny one. Tiny Baby is ten and Smushie is eight.
Stay at home daughter. Live with my parents and my sister. Waiting til they pass on cause they’re giving us the house. I like living with them but sometimes there are flaws. I’m not getting married, don’t want kids or a relationship so it works out. Only thing is, when people ask me , I lie and say i’m saving for something so they don’t get jealous.
I’m scared to be alone
I’ve been living on my own since may 2012.. although for maybe 1 and a half years I was at a group home.. I hated it everybody there was in there 60s.. and the one guy was a huge theif. They all died now. I love living alone.. I couldn’t even live with a 30 year old goldie hawn.. ahhh I love goldie
I moved out at 18 and lived on my own ever since.
Similar here, moved out at 19 and had stints in different cities (England) then finally secured housing on welfare by 27 - have been alone since 27, before that I always lived with others.
I live with my husband. Before him I had a roommate and before that my parents. So I’ve never lived alone. I’ve never been able to because I’ve never been independent enough especially financially and transportation wise.
i live alone i have my own townhouse, my happiest days were with roommates tho.
living with family wasnt the worst either.
they all have there positives.
I have lived alone for years. I don’t live alone any longer. Sometimes I miss living alone.
I moved out of my parents house at 20.
I wanted to live on my own for a while, before moving in with my spouse. so I did live alone for 1,5 years. it was a good experience.
then I moved in with my spouse and we’ve been living together for, 18 years.
Yes but my parents live across the street
I think the same!
Living alone is good. Privacy is good. Isolation of that kind is good training 4 me
I lived alone all my adult life except for a few relative short stays with my parents when I’ve been between apartments.
Living alone is very laid back, but sometimes I wish I could live together with a good friend or a partner, that would be much better. It gets lonely ![]()
It does get lonely living alone.
Thank goodness for my dog and cat!
With schizophrenia you’re never alone
