I know I have schizophrenia, I have be diagnosed by like 16 different doctors. And when you meet a new doctor, and your pretty high functioning schizophrenic,and they want to say to you, you can’t have schizophrenia your to high functioning,well thats because of the meds,see me off my meds and come talk to me later about it then. Cause i hate when I see a new doctor and they want to like make a name for their self,and they want to flip the whole script on you,cause your on meds,that why you prescribed them right,to make me feel better,their you go. What y’all think

Yes the whole point of meds is to help you function more so thinking someone on meds doesn’t have schizophrenia is stupid because that is the entire point of meds in the first place.

I think a doctor who tells you that you can’t have schizophrenia because you’re too high-functioning is not only dismissing the effectiveness of medication but also invalidating all of the deep pain that you’ve endured and the hard work that you’ve put in to become high-functioning.

Ya this quack new dr i had.. he said wut makes u think u have schizophrenia.. that tiked me off big time.. if he does it again im gonna say take me off meds and u will see
