Does anyone here have arthritis?

My general practitioner told me I had arthritis in both of my knees. It hurts so much. I’ve been trying things. They crackle sometimes.

I got arthritis in my lower back, probably from my job unloading trucks for four years in the nineties. Going to physical therapy helped but probably not long term. I got some Tylenol made especially for arthritis pain.

Oh that’s even worse in your back.

What’s the treatment plan the recommended? I don’t know much about arthritis but I think it’s about inflammation. I think my mom has arthritis

I don’t know if it’s worse but I can’t bend with my back. Makes putting on shoes and socks and clipping my toenails hard so I got no-hands slip on shoes and Medicare pays for me to have my toenails clipped by my podiatrist.

Lose weight and find an arthritis pain reliever.

Physical therapy helped with my back. @roxanna’s right, losing weight eased the pain in my back.

I have no cartilage left in my knees and need knee replacement surgery, but losing weight has allowed me to put that off for 5 more years. I get steroid and hyaluronic acid injections in my knees.

Yes a little in both knees. It can get pretty uncomfortable. Strengthening legs has helped.

I also have arthritis in my back…not as bad as my wife…she has a lot of problems plus the arthritis…degenerative discs in her back.

My mom takes 8 hr Tylenol for arthritis and fish oil. Fish oil has anti inflammatory effects. She says the fish oil helps a lot.

I have autoimmune disease that causes arthritis in my whole body. But right now it’s in remission thankfully.
