I was just checking my Facebook account the other day to see if it was really closed out for good seems like it is now, I feel more at peace since deleting my account. I don’t think I will ever sign up for a new account there. Too many needy people there, and too much drama if I was to go back, I deserve whatever I get from the people on there that thrive on drama. I like to be drama free and stay out of trouble in my own lane and expect the same from others. But that’s not likely to happen if I was to go back there and post people come at me and I don’t like that had it happen more than once. I got called out in Facebook messenger for saying the word yep saying I was like 50 and not 5 and to grow up just for saying that one word. Not for me this site seems to be more accepting of me and not as judgy I feel safe here to say how I feel without being judged harshly or lashed out at I just wanted to say Thanks for being a safe haven for me to vent and to express myself you guys and girls rock here.
aw I’m sorry you feel that way…I still get a lot of good feelings associated with facebook…but I am careful what I say or do too…glad you like it here.
I too got tired of running on the digital social threadmill. I haven’t missed it for a second after I deleted my account. I currently have no social media.
I was careful about what I said on Facebook and I still got people messaging me or people are needy there and keep wanting to be my friend when clearly, I didn’t respond and wasn’t interested yet got harassed for not replying back soon enough and ignoring their messages.Dont miss Facebook one bit I like it here better.
I deleted facebook too seemed a waste of time, likewise for twitter, x.
I even went on pof recently but not the right time to look 4 friends
Its good u feel comfy to talk here. And not feel judged. Thats the ideal.

Good riddance to Facebook i say. I barely use it these days. Still have an account but your right, its full of drama and stupidity. The main reason I use it still is to find old friends/family that might be hard to contact without thier phone numbers etc.
Im glad you enjoy it here on the forum. 
I am proud of myself for deleting my account on Facebook its highly addictive if you’re not careful believe me I know I spent way too much time on there better off without being on there I like here and the people here seem nice and friendly for the most part or the ones that interact with me mostly are friendly it seems.
I don’t miss it
I got hacked but used changing to a new account to lose a lot of people who I didn’t really care about. Meanwhile. Not doing anywhere near as much internet these days with my renaissance so have one new account and it’s really on necessary people in my life. Stuff the haters……
The negative is that I lost a lot of people from my days living in the US but we only responded online anyways so it’s tough to not keep up with those peoples as their lives chage. I miss that….not the hate and rubbish from most of it like the Ai rubbish.
