Feels like everyone is trying to keep the truth from me that I’m not very smart. I have worked on the intellectual inferiority complex I had but I can’t help but feel people don’t want to shatter my ego by telling me that I’m kinda dull

And yes I’m creative @Rainstorm but I’m definitely not cognitively sharp. Alot if the cognitive stuff takes a lot of work for me .even the simple stuff
Why compare the self to the other?
My hang up is more physical I think. And has to do with sexual competition.
That I can understand being sad about
But humanity is diverse and intellect is only one aspect of the mind. Don’t discount your personal achievement or ability and don’t ignore what a gift it is to be a human. We are so gifted all of us.
You can be a genius on a desert island and perish the same as would someone with less smarts. It’s all about conditions letting your mind rise to the occassion. Without opportunities, and with MI, and poverty etc. you are making good progress in music and programming and spirituality etc.
I on the other hand have no hobbies, just play video games and am not insecure with intelligence at all, simply don’t value it anymore.

I kind of dont care.. i get bored of everything I do. Im happiest right now living on endless vacation even though it is a bit dismal. I found academics interesting but so alienating, like knowing a language nobody understands but wanting to talk in it so badly… then you find someone in the same field and they know about something completely different. People hate someone who doesnt try at anything, but im cool with it.
