Thats where thinking is going it seems to spectrums and fluid identities for things rather than black and white thinking… I don’t really want to say it, but in pomo philosophy that is considered a schizo quality due to rejection of rigid objective categorizations… so this argument is actually right at home if pomo philosophy even makes sense

I’ve had a long debate with my voices about whether I should be a vegan or not.
Personally, I’m a utilitarian,
And I’ve arrived at the conclusion that submitting to my voices is worse than eating animals who suffer and die.
It’s not an easy argument, but I think that human Independence and Liberty May matter more than animal suffering.
I do hope that eventually people move away from eating meat so often, then it becomes a luxury.
Plus lab grown meat is on its way

I’m trying to eat mostly vegetables but my mom has kidney disease and she needs some protein. She says no to vegetables all the time. It’s too expensive if we eat two different diets. So for now I try to eat semi.

I went vegetarian for 1 and a half years. I became physically ill. When I started eating omnivore again I literally felt better after the first meal.
There are certain nutrients you only can obtain from meat. I don’t remember all of them, but taurine is one, vitamin b12. And things like choline is hard to get from plant based.
I think humans are all different. Some may be sucsessful vegetarians, but others really need meat to have good health.

My cousin bow hunts, you’re right that rifle hunting is a little bit unfair but I feel like technology is an aspect of the human body, we evolved with it. It evolved with us.

Koalas are perpetually high/drunk off the leaves they eat. They literally are degenerating slowly as a species over time i heard haha.
