We spend way too much money on this. It appears it is our primary source of hydration, even though I know that it should be water.
We do, at least, buy mostly diet, which I read hydrates you better than regular with all that sugar.
I think, between my wife and I, we probably spend at least 15 dollars a day on soda. Now this doesnt sound like a lot, but times that by 30 and thats about 450 dollars a month more we are spending when water is more healthy, hydrating and much cheaper.
We are just addicted to the caffiene and taste, I guess.
HOw about you? Are you pop addicts like us? Maybe you get your caffiene through coffee alone. Neither of us drinks coffee.
I have a Sodastream and last July I bought $400 worth of various soda mixes during amazon primes days. I drink about 4 liters a day which including CO2 cylinders comes out to about $3.50 a day.
Have you considered getting a Sodastream soda machine? You might save one or two hundred dollars a year. Drink mixes have gone way up this year though you can still find them on sale then you can stock up on them and I could give you the name of the company that I buy my CO2 cylinders from. I pay just $13.99 for each cylinder which is about the cheapest you’ll find them. If you can find the 4 pack Pepsi soda mixes on sale for $17, with carbonation that makes about 30 liters and it will cost you about $1.75 per liter.
I drink the occasional soda. But I drink one energy drink a day which is about $60 a month. The rest I drink ice water with fresh lemon. I buy 2lbs of lemons every week or so.
Until now, it’s been $15/week, however, I’m switching to a drink mix that will last me a week for about $5/week. I also drink water though. Lots of it. I’m trying to cut costs
Basically zero. Only really drink water. A year or so ago I was drinking instant coffee which costs nothing basically. I cant drink any caffiene anymore.
I mainly drink water. I have coffee in the morning. Never been a huge soda drinker and find it hard to drink more than one soda in a day. My friend and I clean my dad’s office every Sunday. It is a ritual for us to get a pack of cigarettes and energy drinks on the way to the office. I’ll get a soda instead if I’m trying to sleep that night. I get my sugar through sweets or candy though. Just never been a massive soda drinker.
