I only had two work orders and was done by 1 but stayed at work til 5:30. But this lady wanted her hot water back on because it had shut off and I looked up the answer for the water heater and it worked! The water turned hot! I think I like my job at this place, granted I’m still a temp. I realized that being comfortable with uncertainty and using my resources can get you really far. My supervisor was not there today so I was on my own. I think my coping statement for this year is this is good enough and my word of the year is peace of mind.
Well done. I hope you continue to like things there and it works out.
If you succeeded once, then you can succeed again and keep doing good at your job.
Nice job @anon91889455

Good job K! Yeah with resources like YT and sites like “instructables” it’s not too hard to figure out a lot of maintenance issues. Be proud of yourself, K. ![]()
@montezuma Thanks! 1515151515
You succeed every day @anon91889455.
Most people are afraid of failures.
What really happened is that you didn’t succeed on that attempt.
If you learned from it and apply what you learn the next time, that’s a success, even if the next attempt isn’t.
Not trying to learn when you don’t succeed. Not trying again. That’s where real failure creeps in.
What people think of as failures are really lessons, or opportunities to learn.
You’re doing so much better than you give yourself credit for.
