The upper ones are OK. The lower ones won’t grip properly. My daughter will show me how to use the fixadent tomorrow . It’s early days, should get better. I’ve been told I look much better. Can smile properly now.
The lower ones generally aren’t supposed to grip. They float and you get used to it.
Good things happy for you. I remember when my mom got her dentures. She was excited
Float as in come loose, detached from your gums?
They ride on your gums, not fixed to them. Some people do try, but they invariably come loose with chewing and you get the dental adhesive mixed in with your food. Small bites, chew slowly, and you’ll get there. You also learn to talk without popping them loose.
Suction upper. Muscle control lower? I’m struggling at the fitting the dentures in stage.(rant mode) Most people are frustratingly, depressingly clueless as to how much I struggle with certain things. That includes (mental) health professionals . It’s been a damn sight more disabling than the sz symptoms.(rant mode ends)
That’s great you got dentures
Hopefully it will improve your quality of life
i hope they help ![]()
Upper dentures are in. Lower dentures are more of a problem.
My previous dentist made a mess out of my dentures.
I still have upper veneers and don’t bother wearing dentures
