Every day I want to phone them just to chat
But then I remember they are gone
We had a good relationship and they really understood me in ways that nobody else can
It’s almost like the interpreter and understanding has been taken away with their passing
Would have been my nans birthday today
I just hope if there is a better place they are there

Sorry for the loss. I feel I’d have had a similar relationship with my grandfather if things didn’t pan out the way they did. Grandparents for whatever reason truly do listen and encourage - that’s love, a precious kind
