I need advice really badly

This girl that I’ve been talking to in Cote d’Ivoire wants to visit me in the summer. I’ll have enough money by then to pay for her ticket and she wants to stay at my place. I said how long do you want to stay for and she said how long is the Visa and the Visa extends for 6 months so she said she wants to stay for 6 months…

I think that she’s enamored by American life and would really enjoy herself here. But potentially it could lead to some problems.

My goal for her is to find work in France housekeeping in the hospitality industry. There are hundreds of thousands of jobs available there in that sector. I’ve done some research.

What do you guys think? Am I insane? :zany_face:

You know I’m skizo typically besides of Schizophrenic so while schizophrenics can have visitors for 6 month I’d say I had enough after 60 min.

I should clarify that her goal is to gain citizenship in France right now, but she wants to visit the US, see something other than her country

Really wow okay I’ll be careful but the thing is there’s not much she can do to me. I feel really badly for her. To be honest, her life is really hard. It makes me sad and I want to help someone if I can. I’m so depressed by the disparity in the world and I want to make a difference even if it’s just one person

A small red flag that you’re paying for the plane ticket. But maybe not because she sounds like a real person if she wants to stay with you.

Yeah I mean I can just buy the ticket and send her the deets by email and there’s not much she can do with that. She seems cool. I think that I am going to trust her.

Cleaning you out. Green card. First things first… She can’t get a travel visa to the U.S. - that country was put on the pause list. Second, she’ll need to show she has adequate money in the bank before being allowed into the country. If you buy her plane tickets that will be the next ask. Sending her the $15,000.
