Joined it and someone was abusive to me on a message
So I quit
Yeah I stay clear of those apps, I want to make friends, I need to find some groups with similar interests.

I am always behind with what apps to use for socialising
Was hoping to meet some friends on there
But I got impression that it was more for younger people

Yeah I thought it was more for Genz type app… I know I found my partner online, but I don’t like the idea of finding friends like this… I never wanted friends, but it’s weird im craving friendship over the last few months. I do love crafting so I’ll look for groups like that.

Bumble has a find friends option but never tried it. I have a few friends but did not meet them online. They’re like friends of my old ex friend who I stopped talking to because he got into a fight with my other friend. I want to make more friends like talking to presz friends, still have them on fb but been like 6 years we did not talk. I keep changing friends every 5-10 years, I get mad at them.
Having friends have downsides, some will try to use you like asking to lend them money or picking them up. I never accepted lending them money but had a friend who did not have a car and I kept picking him up until I told him to get a car and that I am not picking him up again. I left a friend because he was smoking weed and I did not want to be around weed. I left another friend when I did not have a car because he wanted me to buy him coffee in exchange for picking me up.

There are good people but they are harder to find. I had a friend who kept telling others everything I say to him and it made me paranoid. He couldn’t keep secrets and private stuff. He was also talking badly about others and mocking them. He wanted me to listen and answer him but he rarely listened to me, I felt like he did not care about me. Idk maybe I am unlucky in finding good friends.

I was incredibly naive and easy to take advantage of until my mid twenties when I stopped facilitating friendships
have been on my own now for over a decade with only a handful of friends I met
Basically cut myself off completely
I have a good relationship with a few family members
Outside of that I do not have any peer friends
Was thinking about trying to change that but you reminded me how poorly I make decisions
I was always loyal to my own detriment and it took me a very long time to realise that fact
If people think they can get away with it they will unfortunately
