Because no matter what I do, no one is actually “pleased”… just ends up making me feel like I’m useless…. because I am in their eyes. useless because I don’t work, useless because I don’t cook the foods they like or eat… im always gonna be useless to them no matter what. time to be who I want to be and do what I want to do. for me.

I completely agree. You can’t please everybody all the time. I gave up people pleasing years ago.
When I am asked to do things and it is going to be too difficult for me I just say “no”. And it means I am not always liked by everybody but that’s okay.
