I have one on my side and they are all over my butt. I know why too it’s because I sweat at night then don’t shower. They hurt pretty bad. I had two boils a couple years back and they healed but left a nasty scar

I shower once a week to once every two weeks it’s hard because I have a bear claw shower on top of negative symptoms

You’ve got to shower daily man.
It takes 2 mins to rinse your whole body, 2 mins to lather, 2 mins another rinse, then out and drying yourself.
No excuses.

at least use some wet wipes between showers too, showering near daily or every other day is essential but if you have deemed it not might have to do some spot cleaning as boils are not good

also i read boils can be caused by a staph infection or presence of staphylococcus aureus bacteria

I had one of those, still healing 2 years later after 2 surgeries. They had to cauterize it.

I know your pain bro lol. Mine got infected then I had to let it heal as an open wound. Had to get the dressing changed everyday. Its crazy how much damage an ingrown hair can do.

I agree with lunch. My ex-husband lived with his father whose house was filthy and he kept getting boils. Once he moved in with me, his boils went away. It has to do with being clean you gotta try to shower every day and keep your house clean.

In my country the old folks belief that boils are the result of dirty blood. They believe that you should drink a teaspoon of Epsom Salt every day with a glass of water. Actually you should use it to clean the boil. See my next post
