New car (maybe)

I’m thinking hard about this, it seems a really good deal, its a personal lease and its about 200pm plus insurance etc, I am thinking it will be cheaper than a motability car and its a nice big suv electric with 185mile range, I’m thinking all in it wont be more than 300-350pm

The older I get, the more owning a vehicle is a pain in the arse. Need it, but hate it.

I think a personal lease is much better imo, all in this could cost me about 6k for 3 yrs driving a brand new car.

They’re usually designed to get you paying more over the long term and there all kinds of gotchas where they ding you for little things when you take a vehicle back, like scratches, dents, etc.

the leasing company has a really great rating 47k reviews for a 4.9 out of 5 score, that’s on a reputable site called trustpilot

I’m the guy who has to explain to the insured how the insurance payout for a written off vehicle doesn’t cover what they owe the leasing company after a bad accident. They are counting on you looking at the monthly payment and not the fine print. PLEASE have someone go over it with you before you sign. Leasing companies are predatory by nature.

I’m a commercial fleet specialist, I deal with a lot of leasing companies.

I heard about that, they mentioned gap insurance to cover that, they also highlighted a gap insurance company that is very reasonable, I’ve been watching some YouTube videos about it.
