Finally got car out of garage and into the sunlight so here is a pic of new car. It’s a 2026 Hyundai Elantra.

Yes on the insurance. I dont know on the speed. Its fast enough. Havent had it past 45 or so yet.

I kind of thought…“hmm…i spent 5000 on the xterra…then put about 4000 in repairs while I had it. It only lasted like a year and a half…maybe we are better off putting some money down on a new one that will last 15 years if we take care of it…probably money better spent in the long run”

Anyway…we put enough down that the payment is only going to be 170 or so. Then, of course, there is the full coverage insurance we have to have. Between the 2 of them we should only be paying a little over 310… , so you know, an expense we could do without, but hopefully we can manage.

Before I bought my Jeep Compass last year I drove a Hyundai Sonata…it was a very reliable brand and I had no issues with it for the 4 years I had it. The only reason I got the Jeep was because I really needed 4WD for the Alaskan winters. Your car will serve you well!
