New to this site but old hat for the sz forumsā¦..
My name is Paul. Iām doing good these days and finding my time on social media is way less because my progress is better and Iām finding Iād rather spend my time with people who stimulate me and keep my progress going and itās nice to be amongst those who understand you!
So in real life Iāve hooked up with the local left and doing great things socially but online Iām finding I might have some more time to re-engage with the sz community.
We will see but finding Iām drawn back to this community! Spent many a year with yaāll so since 1999 and Iāve a soft spot in my heart for yaāll.

Hi, Iām 77nick77 but people who know me just call me 77. I was on the forum before the last forum since 2009 and then joined the last forum in 2013. Not much to tell, I work and drive and got my AA degree two years ago at age 62. I mostly stay at home by choice and have no friends by choice. At home Iāll clean the studio and cook meals and the rest of the time is spent surfing the internet. I usually have something that needs to be done that gets me out of the house a couple of times a week. Iām good with customer service people and bank tellers. I started walking and I recently lost 70 lbs and Iām trying to lose 50 more. Iām mildly interested in world events and politics and watch videos of Trump screwing up the world.

Iām the administrator here and went by Bowens on the old forum. I have had a pretty active last year. Got married, bought a house, worked at Amazon for about 10 months before quitting recently due to physical issues. As the warmer months are starting to come on, plan on doing more improvements to the house as I did last year.
I spend a a lot of time here usually but have been taking a bit of a break the last few weeks. I still check in daily and am available when needed. I still check in daily for messages and a brief perusal of forum even in my sparser activity times. So you can always get ahold of me within 24 hours, which is a bit different than the old forum in recent years. Feel free to pm me if needed.
Just like the old forum, I expect my level of participation will come in waves. Sometimes you need a bit of a break. But I am always here enough to fulfill my duties when needed.
In addition to the standard admin/mod duties I also clean up the old files to make sure we have continued space here. This is a bit harder to keep up with when your attendance is on the low end during this time, but we are currently doing fine on storage. Still well under 10% used.
I opened up this forum when it was announced the old forum was closing. I started a gofundme and patreon account to help carry the burden of the costs. Many people have been very generous and we are well ahead in this area. I also started a seperate website which I pay for myself for additional traffic.
Iām not sure what else to say. Thanks to everyone who has moved here and made this a great/safe place for us schizophrenics/schizoaffectives and similar to gather and stay connected after the instability of the old forum.
We plan to be here for a long time to come. As long as there is a demand, we will be here. Perhaps as long as I live. Maybe even after if the reigns need to be passed along at some point. Iām 52 so should be around awhile.

Dress nicely, enhance hygiene, go out in public and engage people in chit chat everywhere. Get involved in social activities. Go to church and church programs. Look at mental health programs and activities.
