it’s going to be hard to make sure we eat well for the rest of the month after all…grocery prices are soaring and thank goodness we had extra money this month…just don’t think I’ll be able to save money after all…bummed.

Yes it’s important you live within your means. Maybe try eating like you were before two weeks out of the month to save money. There are others ways of saving money by not eating out, no impulse shopping etc. you have dogs to take care of, too. That’s a necessary expense. Inflation is a beast, right?
I manage bills for a family of seven and believe me it’s rough. So I get your struggles.

Grocery prices are outrageous!
I purchased 4 items and it cost me $120!
Now that I’m living on my own and have more expenses, I’m going to have to budget myself carefully.
Having pets like I do makes things more expensive

Cost of living is outrageous.
Important thing @jukebox is that bills and rent are paid. Then you eat decently.
If there is anything left it’s a bonus.
It’s hard. As the mother of two sons there are so many expenses for me. It’s hard to budget.

The biggest thing thing in food prices is that you generally do not want to eat out much, if at all. I can usually fix something twice as good for a 3rd of the price of fast food.
But yes, food prices and cleaning supplies and health products and drugs at the pharmacy and on and on all adds up. It’s expensive out there.

aside from payday celebration where I got donuts for my mom and me, I haven’t eaten out this month. I haven’t been driving much either. I did purchase a couple movies to stream, but I’m done with that. Just trying to end the waste is what I gotta focus on.
