I’m starting to speak to ChatGPT as if it were a real person.
Man I’m bored

I’m in that trap myself… it’s good at offering coping skills though!
Yeah my brother uses ChatGPT for therapy
I’m not there yet
I talk to Google Gemini sometimes— mostly venting about SZA or asking if what I’m experiencing is normal.
There have been times where its answers have been helpful, times when it’s almost been like therapy for me, and other times it’s been hit or miss.
I do think it can be a little iffy to read too much into some responses though— best to just use it as a tool, not like definitive facts or anything, in my opinion.
Thanks for your input @Schztuna
I was using Gemini for a while, asking it questions and even getting into some debates but I found it annoying to say ok google everytime to prompt it.
Just talked to Gemini again and asked how to stop sayjng ok google and apparently there is a ‘continued conversation’ setting.
I would never recommend that, but it is helpful in offering quick coping skills.
@Wave ,I thought you speak with comp like folks receive voices from TV.. Uff,you scared me…
No @zoa

Sorry buddy
No way buddy,I only wish you are here more.
We think alike ..
Yes we do!
I keep asking AI about stopping meds and I end up stopping them anyways. They all collect your data and they force you to give them your phone number
I can understand your boredom. I felt bored often either. I think talking with an AI is OK.
i agree lol i feel like chat gpt most of the time just tells you what you want to hear. it kind of rehashes out info as well and overtime can become cyclical, just reinforncing what it said to be consistent with itself rather than pulling up new info.
