When I was younger I created a Facebook account where I put an username instead of my real name
There are a lot of people that I don’t talk with anymore on it and I wanted a pro Facebook account so I created a new one
Initially I put my whole name on it, but it made me paranoid so I removed my first name and just put together my second and third name so they look only like one name and put my last name
My pic I put was me after 6 months in French Caribbean so I’m more tanned than usual and I have a reggae haircut
So it reassures me thinking people will not recognize me and don’t add me
Recently there was a Facebook link on the forum, I clicked on it and then logged in, so it made me paranoid
I don’t have my first name on my Facebook account so I was like I look suspicious
When I was in middle school someone created a false account of me on Facebook and dissed other people and then when I went in middle school people wanted to beat me up
Maybe it’s what is scaring me, that people take my personal info, my pics and bully me
That I’m doxxed too
I’m scared some people would create porn with my pics too
I’m sorry that happened to you. Go into your privacy settings and make sure only friends can see your account etc. make it so you’re not searchable. You’ll have to be the one to initiate bring friends but it can give you peace of mind.
