I’ve been threaten they will put me there. Now I’ve been to a couple wards but not for more than a week or 2.

Three years ago I spent 2 months in the forensic psych ward. I spent Christmas and New Years Eve on the hospital. I also didn’t seen any world cup football game.
Fast Foward in time, it was not a easy task to recover my cognition, but with persistence doing the C1 English level and later my Masters degree I recovered most of my cognition.
It’s tough I know, best of luck to you anyway, do as pdoc says and you’ll probably leave there sooner.

I’ve been over 30 times to wards. Not anymore. Just relax and get to feeling better. Hugs

A man was on the news a while back being interviewed how great his life is after getting in to a group home.
Apparently they all have their own apartment with everything and independence and privacy but then they also have a community lounge ehere everyone csn hang out.
And also a 24 /7 staff available in around that area.
He had schizophrenia.
They can live normal lives from what i understand but with extra support if needed.
Difficult to get though.
Expensive privately and publucly you gave to be approved n have ndis which i applied for twice but was denied.

I was in the paych ward many times and everyone was eventually all of us got out most of us ended up back in at different times
