@Daydreamer

I was diagnosed with schizophrenia at the age of 20 in 1984. Before that it took me 3 times to pass my driving test, and 4 times to pass my swimming test in the navy.

I’ve been in about 12 psychiatric hospitals, and I’ve lived in an Assisted Living Facility. I’ve been homeless, and I’ve lived in a garage with no a/c or heat in Florida.

I met my girlfriend at age 48 (I dated a girl prior but it didn’t work out). My girlfriend helped me meet another person who had a private real estate company. I started working with him. I now have the house, the girlfriend, and a comfortable amount of income, all while taking meds on the daily since 1984.

I’m a 42-year overnight success.

You never know what the future holds.
