Say Anything #18

I do feel like its the meds to some extent. Dulling the senses so you dont get too left-field in your thinking.

Im gonna ask the doctor to taper my aripiprazole down a bit to see how it goes, and then maybe come off it entirely at some point.

Cool. Tapering to 2.5mg was one of my best decisions i have ever made. So far

Idk how it would affect you, but it might make a significant positive difference

What dose of abilify are you on atm if you dont mind me asking?

I found tapering down slowly really might have made a good difference. In my case.

Im on 10mg atm. And yeah I appreciate your words, im kind of scared to taper down because im worried that psychosis might come back if I do. But I’m a gambling man.

Its weird. 5mg to 2.5mg made a huge differnce but i only noticed that after many many months.

But also 5mg was different to 10mg for me

Im on a bus. Im going up to golders green. Then taking a bus back home

I love the movement of the bus. And just scrolling on my phone. Snacking. Music.

When i get near home, need to buy cucumbers for my 10 day fast.

Hbu?

Ah nice, you do like getting on buses dont you? I do recall you being on them quite a bit in the past lol.

I was thinking today where I want to move to. Im tired of being in a crap part of town for nearly 10 years. I wonder if London would be plausible to move to from Manchester. It seems like there’s so much going on and I love stimulation.

Rn im also snacking on these chicken bites and having a few cold ones. Listening to Sister Sledge

Yeh buses are ok lol outside school rush hours.

Oh yeh london is pretty cool except its a little pricey. And slighlty scary. But lot to be involved in here compared to some places.

Mmm enjoy your snacks. They sound alright.

The freedom pass in london is a real win. Idk how long they will continue

Is that what you have?

And thanks! What snacks have you got down ye?

Yeah i have a friend group in London who i see from time to time but their life seems like so much fun and adventure over there compared to here. Its like the city is one giant treasure map of fun. But I cant ignore the danger too, especially in these trying times.

I was also thinking Bristol have you ever been there?

Must be nice having all that time going on public transport. Feels almost philosophical in a way, seeing people get on, get off, and your journey still on going.

I only went to Bristol once and that was when I wad quite psychotic but I do remember it having a great nightlife and music scene. And its also by water too.

And yeah Manchester is awesome in its own right but im tired of being here for so long. I want to see other places
