I need more groceries. Seems like I keep spending money on groceries lately. I’m hooked on expensive Blue Bell cookie dough ice cream too.
Anyway I’ve lately been making lots of BLT sandwiches. Three strips of bacon, a slice of tomato, and some leaves of lettuce with mayo on toasted wheat bread. Very tasty.
My pharmacist is working on my GLP-1 bridge so hopefully that gets approved soon. Gonna see Masters of the Universe and Young Washington this week with our theater pass. Hope everyone is doing well.
I have a similar problem. All the money and credit and debit cards are held by my wife in a safe that I don’t have access to. There’s good reason for it. With SSDI she is the one who is supposed to take care of the money I get. I don’t even drive anymore alright it’s also my car. We have a small paid off house in south Carolina and half is mine obviously. But my wife is worried I might get to where she can’t take care of me herself anymore. It’s not like I can’t do anything for myself but there have been times I couldn’t do anything for my self at all.
I just saw Lil Wayne broke off his engagement. Ha. And Scottie pippen is dating a 20 year old and he’s 60. What do they have in common arthritis and money.
I have my next concert (Stabbing Westward) in two days, then another concert (The Ex-Faces) three days later.
The Stabbing Westward concert will mean calling off work, but whatever. So many people there call off frequently while I hardly ever do so, so idgaf. I’m going to this one solo, at my favorite small venue. The place holds only 550 people, and I do not anticipate it being a sold out show.
I’m taking my gf to the Ex-Faces concert, at a venue she used to go to often. I’ve never been there, never even been to that city.
I’m excited for both, been a month and a half since my last show. One of the worst things about winter is that I don’t go to concerts that time of year.
Yes, unfortunately I have not landed a different job yet. I desperately need out of my current job.
I got “mandated” again last week, i.e. forced to stay over due to us being shorthanded. I went in for my usual 3-11p shift but, because of multiple call offs, we were too short after 11p, so i was told I had to stay all night. I worked 3p-7a without an actual break.
The longest break i got was about five minutes to go down to the hospital coffee shop for some caffeine and a snack. Ugh. I don’t know how much longer i can keep this up. This job is killing me, not sustainable.
Sorry to hear that man. That’s crazy work hours. I’m sure you’ll find something there are tons of jobs out there you just gotta find one that lines up and clicks.
My local hospital has a coffee shop it’s good stuff. Better than regular Starbucks.
