You have an illness. Don’t be so hard on yourself.
I ordered a muscle stretching book. I’m going to start stretching because I’m stiff. Hopefully I can release stale muscles. It’s nothing, but if I can be more agile then I’ll be more happy.
Just ordering the book and trying is a small victory.
Do something for yourself. Something small.
You seem to have a lot of demands on yourself? You have set the bar too high.
I have a book perennial philosophy by aldous huxley where he argues all paths lead to the same place. It has shamanism in there. A lot of non mainstream beliefs.
I’m ok despite my dad that has cancer. He’s been smoking for 50 years, the cigarettes got to him. He’s in the hospital now. He is seeing a doctor tomorrow.
We’ll know this week what treatment he will receive. If it’s possible to treat him that is.
Two months ago he was working. Now he has lost tremendous amount of weight and can’t do sh-it.
He would have received his pension 6 months from now.
I hope he’ll be alright but odds are not in his favor.
If you smoke now is time to quit. Those things will kill you.
Oh man, that sucks. From the lungs, cancer can spread all over the body. Do they know yet if it has metastasized? I watched my mom die from cancer, just awful to watch.
I quite cigarettes in August 2020, no nicotine for me the past six years.
My gf left around 2 pm, after which I went to the grocery store for a few items, made a frozen pizza for lunch, been chillin ever since.
It’s been nice, especially after nine consecutive days working. This is Day 3 of my four-day weekend. After tomorrow I’ll work seven consecutive days. This schedule is rough, especially with having a few 12 hr shifts mixed in, but I need money.
The pay I’ll be getting later this week will be based on 100 hours of work, so a good amount of OT, should be nice.
