It will not be used as a platform for opinions on policies and the like. Political opinion is a divisive subject and we don’t need to get into that here.
So, for example, if there was a news article posted about the president imposing new tariffs. An appropriate comment might be that it has been said that he is imposing a tariff on chinese steel. Or the amount of the tariff.
A comment that would not be allowed is that “Trump is an orange goober that is destroying the country with his policies”
Another example of not allowed is that “Trump is saving the country from the Democrats who bend to China’s will”
Whether pro or con, these are examples of opinions that we don’t need to help inform people.
If you want to discuss political opinions there are plenty of places for that. We don’t need the political divisions that divide people on a support forum.
