Sold our first item on Ebay since selling old stuff for profit

It was a December 1986 “TV game show magazine” with Vanna White and Pat Sajek on the cover.

Sold for 20 dollars plus shipping and tax.

We have only been listing stuff for 3 days and some of them are 7 day auctions, so its not a bad start.

Spent about 7 hours listing stuff so far. Have 31 items left that we have listed up in the store. Going to try to get another 10 up tonight.

Takes us about 2 hours to get 10 or 12 listings up between the pictures, the weighing for postage, the research and the descriptions, etc.

When I found out we’d be moving frequently (around 2018) I decided to sell my hoard of video game strategy guides, Nintendo Power issues, and sealed collector’s editions of video games, I sold them all on Ebay within two months and made over 5,000 dollars. I got so used to using my packing tape roller and listing stuff on Ebay. It’s easier than you think and it helps you build up a lot of good ratings as a seller.

I still have lots of strategy guides but most are under the 20 dollar range so I haven’t bothered, but I’m getting desperate and considering starting up to sell again. I wager I could get 500-600 dollars from what I have left in the garage.

I sold my Earthbound cartridge paired with the Strategy Guide that came with it for 300 bucks a few years back. I got a SNES mini that has it and just use the online guides for it instead.

Still sitting on my SNES copy of Super Mario RPG

YEah, considered that when I saw one on tv recently. For one, I doubt they will give what its worth and for 2 its a condo and not a house.
