I’ve been trying to sell my pocketknife collection the last couple of weeks, I have about 30 knives and some of them are from the 1970’s but in like-new condition and I have some that are even older.. I used ChatGPT to find knife forums, pawn shops, vintage shops and antique stores to try and sell them at. I called several places and joined a couple of knife forums and ironically I went back to the very first place I called and got in touch with this guy today who buys and sells knives and I’m driving to San Jose Saturday morning to meet him at an antique shop so he can look at my collection and make me an offer. I scored with my coin collection the beginning of this month, I made nearly $300 on some coins I had collected over the years but I don’t know how I’ll do with my knife collection. if I make $50 I’ll be happy, I doubt they’ll go up in value in the coming years if I kept them and I live in a small space so I get rid of anything I don’t absolutely need.

hey good luck…check those forums for prices so you can get a handle on the secondary market. It’s always weird as some stuff holds value and unique or hard to get items often raise the price.
