Old pocket knives

Are almost impossible to sell. I have about 10 old pocket knives dating back anywhere from 1960 to 1990. They’re not doing me any good just keeping them so I’m trying to sell them but after calling at least 5 vintage shops and 5 pawn shops I find that nobody will buy them. I emailed a local auction house, it’s my last hope. I guess I could sell them on eBay but I wouldn’t know how much to sell them for and I don’t know how to go about it. it’s very frustrating.

Check out what other people have the same knife for sale for on ebay and then go from there?

Good idea. But it would have to be a coincidence for someone to have the same knives as me.

maybe post them on like knife forums or something like that. seems like a specialized item that people in that world would be interested in but the average joe wouldnt want, espeically since theyre illegal to carry in most places… who knows maybe theyre worth something to collectors… but to an average joe they’d probably prefer a brand new blade. I’d try to sell them to a collector

you could ask for opinions on a knife forum.. see if they’re worth anything

Thanks, I joined one forum but they want to charge me $40 to join their “Gold Membership” which is the only way I can post pictures of my knives.

yw, hope you can sell them

I dont think ebay lets people sell knives, certainly not in the UK anyway, but maybe in the USA too.
