I use to be a huge fan of the Simpsons now days I like South Park more the simpsons is just old news to me

South Park has almost killed me with laughter. Simpsons has had some nice gags, but not like South Park. Not all South Park episodes are good tho.

I do admit I get more laughs from South Park. I’m not sure what it is but I like the both the same.
South Park is getting old too. Almost 30 years old now!
I like just about every episode of South Park with a few exceptions. I hate the “Jackovasaur” episode.

South Park is too political, even though I agree with their politics I get tired of them. Simpsons is classic.
And even when they’re not being political, they’re often trying to make a point about society, and they just beat it like a dead horse the whole episode sometimes. Then Stan (or sometomes Kyle) sums it up at the end. I like the episodes that don’t follow this formula but it feels like most do.

I havent seen many south park episodes. Some fall flat to me and I cant finish them. There have been a few that were absolutely hilarious. The waterpark one stands out in memory.
That’s actually one of the reasons I love South Park! I love the commentary on society

I like most characters on South park. Randy is my favorite.. im getting the south park game on pc called stick of truth.. got good reviews. I grew up watching Simpsons and southpark always liked it
Yeah I mean everyone’s opinion is valid of course, different strokes for different folks
I am surprised Simpsons isn’t doing as well in the poll though. It’s my all time fave show.

Years ago the simpsoms used to be very funny. If you watch a recent episode they dont seem nearly as funny as the used to be, and the storylines seem to be all over the place sometimes. I would suspect they have lost many of their best writers over time.
I have never watched south park regularly. I have seen a few episodes over the years but not enough to really judge.

Simpsons was good before, in the 90s and early 2000s, I used to watch it with my dad and brothers as a kid, fond memories. But then I discovered South Park when I grew older, and South Park has kept it funny for a really long time. I haven’t really seen all the new stuff because I’d need to pirate it, but I think South Park had it’s golden era from about season 4-13 or around there? A long stretch of just pure comedy genius.
I choose South Park, while Simpsons have/had good stories, funny jokes and sometimes even leans in to a more serious tone successfully, south park have given me the most joy.

Family Guy was my fav growing up – until I had delusions they were writing jokes for/about me
