I watched Arsenal lose to PSG today after penalties in the Soccer champions league. I think PSG had most of the play, so maybe they deserved it.

Soccer world championship 2026 in America coming up in less than 2 weeks. I will try to watch some of it, but because of the time difference most games will play in the middle of the night over here.

I’m on game 4 of OKC and the spurs on NBA replay. Tonight I’m watching game 5. They’re on game 7 so I know they’re tied in the series.

Some of the World Cup games are being played about 30 minutes from where I live, and my state is the official host for the Ghanaian team, so I suppose that’s pretty exciting.
The World Cup has always been neat to follow casually— I am curious how it will be with the Americas as the host nations.
FIFA is a little iffy as an organization, but hopefully their antics don’t detract from the games.

I hear the tickets to the game arenas are ridiculously high, like 11000$ for the cheapest seats. I wonder how they can fill the arenas with those prices. Must be a lot of soccer crazies in the world.

I don’t watch a lot of Football/soccer these days but always like a world cup which is on soon.
Going to set up the carrier to my tv and tablets so I can watch some of the games. It’s always crazy stuff and the theatre of a football game at that level is always amazing…
Not sure how the bigger field will affect it but I’m keen. Austtralia is in there but we are shite in football. I think we made 1/4 finals once and got a bad call and got knocked out by the enentual winners Italy. Talk about dramatic.

Yesterday I was asleep, but I just logged into social media and can see all footage of the riots (yes riots) and celebrations of the win lol, i feel so much better seeing this lol

I could never live into it that way. Beeing a soccer fan, or a hardcore fan of other sports, is very much like a adult role play it seems

Norway in the WC for the first time in like 26 years. People are crazy about it.
The government gave the pubs license to serve around the clock during the WC, lol
