I’m an Aussie but we’ve a good go at getting out of group stage. Meanwhile no real favourite because I’m so out of the loop but my little brother got me into a supercoach league for the world cup…not many takers but will have a crack…

Like don’t watch a lot of soccer but it’s so good at the end of the world cup. So much drama and consequence. It’s worth the effort and first game tomorrow at 5 am my time! Go Aussie!

Portugal are okay, i like that famous football player who has lots of kids. Forgot his name

Ronaldo..some like him some hate him. It’s strange. Sometimes the commentary team on tv are dissing him for no particular reason. I think that’s pretty unprofessional. Commentator should be objective.

I’m betting on Portugal getting to the final. Ferndandes and Vitiniha and Leao are all ace players, with the leadership of someone like Ronaldo; they really can, and should.

Come off it… Ronaldo should have retired by now.

Looking forward to seeing how Mexico play tonight. They had a lovely style last world cup.

Lol was that directed at me? Also, I said his leadership not his playing. I agree his playing is bad

It was directed at all the Ronaldo lovers out there.

Nothing personal. Just a lively chat

I dig Ronaldo, ofcourse he isn’t the player he once was now that he’s 41? But he still has a big nose for goals although his speed and endurance is below average.

That would be a really cool scenario seeing them in the final, maybe against Argentina. Is Messi even playing this? I guess he is, it would be a legendary final.
