Pristiq is close to Effexor. My kidney Dr wants me to stop it because I’m having low sodium issues. He seems to think I should stop it cold turkey. I see my pdoc today and will discuss and then will reply to my kidney Dr.

I take effexor or the cheaper generic Deprevix

I just saw my pdoc. She’s not thrilled that kidney Dr keeps telling her to stop my meds. First it was lamictal he blamed for low sodium and I stopped that one, yet my sodium levels remain low. It can be dangerous though if the levels don’t increase.
I just hope that Pristiq is the cause. I hope I do ok without it too. Pretty anxious.
