I just know I found it increasingly difficult to cope in a predominantly neurotypical world . I had issues/problems socially and cognitively for which there was no help and support,back then. There was no 2e/gifted but disabled back then.I’ve had moderately severe executive dysfunction from as far back as I can remember. There’s never been any help and support for it. For me doing quite well on a high range IQ test is easier than a multistep task a lot of people would take in their stride.
