I drove my car to my mechanic this morning and then took an Uber home to wait while it was being worked on: $22 + $5 tip. That was 8:00 in the morning. I got an Uber back at 3:00 to pick up my car and the same trip only cost $11+2 tip. It was on the freeway both ways and the first trip was during the commute but all the traffic was going the other way. I don’t take Uber a lot so I’m assuming this was normal.

I think it’s normal yea… supply and demand as they say. A $1 bottle of water is worth a million in a desert. After the morning rush there’s probably tons of free Ubers which means the price drops considerably. Fluctuates thru the day. I got an Uber for like $7+ tip to work before because it was like 5am…off peak hours I think they call them.
